LASL’s 2025 Late Fall Indoor 5-a-side League is a recreational, co-ed league playing 5v5 on the turf fields inside Lawrence's Sports Pavilion at Rock Chalk Park.  We will play a 6 game season every Sunday from November 9th through December 21st, skipping 11/30. Players must be at least 15 years old to participate.

Indoor 5-a-side League Details

Location: Games take place at the indoor fields located in the Sports Pavilion just west of town (click here for a map). 

Times:  Game times between 4 pm to 9 pm

Duration: 25-minute halves with a 5-minute break at half-time.

Fees:  $65/person.  The $60 early bird rate ends 11/3.  A $5 late fee kicks in on 11/8. Registration closes at midnight on 11/11/2025.

The Rules

• 5-a-side uses a Futsal ball

• 5v5 including goalie

• Kick-ins: indirect except on the corner

• No slide tackling

• 3 players to start the match

• No offsides (however, indirect kick for camping inside the box)

• If the ball touches the ceiling net, a kick is awarded directly below the point of contact

• Unlimited subs on the fly

• Blue cards for unnecessary contact (2 minutes on the sideline)

• Mercy rule.  If a team is up by 5, the winning team removes a player and plays 1 down until the score is tied

Please keep in mind the need for a quick turnover between games.  Be ready to start your game on time and clear off the field immediately following your game.  There is ample room to stretch/cool down in the halls and courts just off the field area.  Thank you!
